Default Itask- Now also iTask lite!

4. october: iTask lite can be found at post nr 423 page 43 of this forum

31.july : iTask Alpha 5,5 release

First: I need replies to get ideas, for errors and some help. Otherwise I will have to figure everything out myself and that will take a long time.

Second: Read the manual

5.0:
Thanks to the people who have helped the iTask-project so far!

Filesize is smaller (relatively, since more stuff has been added) As my actionscripting improves, the scriptsize goes drastically down.
-Apps, Games and settings are totally changable. (All text, images, links)
-Main menu is changable (All text, images, and some of the links.)
-It runs twice as smooth on my device as alpha 4
-Battery percentage on main screen
-New faster rss reader. 4 news sites (changable) + Changable headlinenames
-New weather reader. 4 locations (changable)
-Load animation for every external program. (white page tween from 0 to fullscreen)
-A better phone dialer. (but not perfect, and not beautiful) I haven't got the time to work on it a lot yet.. more functions will probably come later
-Simple Tetris game (got to have some fun while making iTask!)
-Simple PingPong game- fully operational, but not totally finished.
-Simple Snake game - fully operational, but not totally finished.
-Simple Steveball game- a game with only one goal.
-Yahoo Maps iTask version. (still a bit buggy sometimes, but it works)
-Settings panel info about memory and storage will come in next release I hope... Need to get those dlls sorted out.
-Credits (this is what you've all been waiting for! dough!)

5.5:
-Added images to animation for every button. (instead of only white page)
-Added timing to animation in milliseconds: You have to edit this to your preferences. All in the input.txt
-Added weather animation and temperature to the weather button. Later, it will be only still images, because of the visual annoyance.
-Settings buttons should now work.
-Small fix on RSS.

This wouldn't be possible without all your input and ideas! Thanks!

Please tell me how it works!

Hope you like it!

Man, that is wild!! I can't even begin to comprehend how you did that. I have seen som cool stuff done with Mortscript, but the animation is sweet! How much RAM does that eat up? And can my x51v do something like that?

That looks great, really going for the iphone feel, I must admit that I do like the flash look that the iPhone has with the scrolling contacts (yes I do have iContacts great little app) and how applications can slide over to the next screen.

Same as Buzzard how much storage dose it take and how much memorey?

Cheers

Jace

Thumbs up

Not only how much memory etc, but how many programs do I need to have to get something that looks like that?
What is "mortscript" I've heard of MortButtons, but never used it. Are the programs expensive?

That really is spectacular looking. Great!

That looks like an old iPAQ in the picture, so I don't see why any PDA, especially recent ones, couldn't do that also.
