@Dr.Verdi:
Could you go to WisBar's settings (Start > Programs > WisBar Advance > Settings), then to the "Task Manager" section? I need you to look at the "Mode" flag. Is it set to "Full" or "Lite"?
Also, you can close the program by going to Start > Programs > WisBar Advance > Quit WisBar Advance.
@dafimoto:
What program are you using the mouse with? It seems like it has a problem with the PocketHAL library, which WA4 is using to render the start menu.
As for the hardware button, that's perfectly normal right now. I didn't want to completely remove the ability to use the builtin start menu, yet. That will come later.
@drock:
I'm sorry, but I had to drop WM2003 support due to the fact that many of the newer features just aren't available on WM2003 devices. WM5 support is a tad iffy in some areas, too, for the same reasons. But, it does provide many of the hooks that WA4 needs in order to operate.
On a completely different note, I've now got WA4 working on the newest builds of WM6.5 (the unstable test builds with the smaller taskbar). Using that build, I was able to correct the lockups in the program, so it should work better for everyone.
I'll have a new build out in the next few days.

I installed WA4 again and yes the mode flag is "full".
After a softreset and manually starting WA4 my PDA is hanging with the splashscreen from WA4. ->Softreset
Second try and same result, i cannot start the program.
What are these coloured fields at the bottom for?

I'll answer the easy question first:
The colored fields at the bottom are placeholders because I don't have the appropriate icons yet. From left to right, they are "Favorites", "All Programs", "Recent Programs", "Settings" and the task manager.
Now, for the hanging question, are you running any variant of Windows Mobile 6.5 or are you running 6.1 or earlier?

I'm looking forward to the new build. So far, I like how the base OS for 6.5.1 is more finger friendly in a lot of areas. Combine this with the extra functionality of WA & it will be almost perfect.

mouse is build-in with Samsung i780. It is called FingerMouse and it's controlled by an optic button that replaces the standard d-pad.
There are other apps that do the same thing (ex: FingerMenu) like wa4 when the cursor is moved on the screen, it is like a click & drag

I'll first say that I wasn't expecting this. I used WA3 previously but removed it because it wasn't for me. I decided to install WA4 just to test and see how it is coming along. I was absolutely amazed how incorporated so many applications that I have used before. Also I really like the fact that you were able to skin the Windows message box. Also, for a beta this actually running pretty well on my Omnia. Chris I think you need a donate button for all the hard work you do. Keep up the good work.

That issue is fixed in my internal build (I fixed it yesterday).
